If my pet has a microchip, why do I need this tag?

Tags provide your up-to-date details for anyone who has asmartphone, helping to get yourfriendhome as quickly and efficiently as possible. Microchips can only be read by professionals,So a visit to a clinic or animal welfare organization will be required. Also, updating the details is a long process that must be carried out by a vet. So if you’ve changed address or telephone andthese details have not been modified,they won’t be able to contact you.

 

Once I get my tag, how do I activate it?

It’s very simple! Scan the WR code or access www.dinbeat.com/qr and, if you still don’t have a profile, create it by entering your details and following the steps. And you’re good to go!

Is it a GPS? / Can I track my pet mate with this tag?

No. Dinbeat QR is a small identification tag that provides a geolocalization service. You will know where your best friend is whensomeone scans the code and authorizes the GPS geolocalization. That way,we will access the localization details of the device that has scanned the code and will send them to you.

Can I only access the tag details by reading the QR code?

You can access by scanning the code or viawww.dinbeat.com/qrin the “I’ve found a pet” section and entering the tag ID.

Do I need a smartphone to use the tag?

No. You can also access them from a computer with an internet connection. Go to the tag URL and enter your ID to access your details.

Will I be able to see the address of someone every time they access the profile details of my best friend?

The person who scans the code will have to authorize the sharing of their GPS data, as the Law does not permit the unauthorized sharing of this information. If they do not, you will receive an email with a notification that your pet has been found.

My profile / My account

Do I have to create a profile every time I register a new animal?

No. You may add all the pet friends you wish to your profile without having to create a new profile for each one.

Does this service expire or will it be payment-based in the future?

Of course not! The service doesn’t expire and you will never have to pay to have or edit your profile.

Does the service operate outside Spain?

Yes. Our tags work on an international basis, so they’re ideal for traveling or when you wish to protect your friend after having just arrived.

Can I modify my profile creation once I have created it?

You may modify your information as often as you wish, except your username and the registration e-mail.

Can I have several tags for the same animal?

Of course! You can add as many tags as you wish to your friend’s profile. They will look good as well as being protected.

I’ve lost one of my tags. How do I delete it from my profile?

Accesswww.dinbeat.com/qrand see your best friend’s profile to check the tags registered and delete those you no longer need. Once you delete it, you will not be able to register it again.

What happens to my profile if I lose the tag or it is broken?

You can get another tag from our website or from stores that sell them. Add the new tag on your best friend’s profile, and you’re good to go. It’s that simple. Your profile will be active until you decide to de-activate it.

How can I unsubscribe my animal’s profile?

Go into the profile and “Edit”. Below, in the “Unregister (your friend’s name)” section, click on the link, follow the instructions and we will take care of the rest. Remember: once you delete it, you won’t be able to recover it.

I’ve deleted my profile by mistake. What should I do?

To completely delete it, you need to click on the link that we send you by e-mail. Don’t worry if you still haven’t done it. Your profile has not been erased.

How do I delete my account?

In your account, you’ll see the “Delete my account” link at the end of the page. Click on the link and follow the instructions. Once the process is complete, we will remove your information within 24-48 hours. After this, your account cannot be recovered.

Lost animal / found animal alert

How do I activate the lost animal alert?

From your profile, access the “Activate lost animal alert” option. Click on the option and select the alert you wish to activate from the drop-down menu, follow the instructions and you’re good to go.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail and your best friend will appear on the lost animals page. www.dinbeat.com/qr

When your friend returns home, don’t forget to de-activate the alarm from the same menu on which you activated it.

How do I deactivate the lost animal alert?

From your profile,on theleft-menu option, “De-activate lost animal alert”. Select the animal for which you want to deactivate the alert, and you’re good to go.

What should I do if I find a lost animal?

Scan the QR code to access their information, or accesswww.dinbeat.com/qrand enter the tag ID.

What is the ID and where is it?

The ID is the 4-digit code on the back of the tag, below the QR code.

Where can I get a QR code reader?

If it is not on your smartphone’s camera, you can download it forfree in your cellphone’s applications center. We recommend “QR Reader”.

What are tags made of?

Made from high-quality PVC, withepoxyand lacquered to increase longevity.

Is the material harmful to my pet?

A material that is totally safe for your best friend. If they are particularly sensitive to any of thematerials, you can consult your vet.There have been no cases as yet.

Can tags get wet?

They can come into contact with water and non-corrosive liquids and are highly durable. It is recommended not to submerge them for long at high temperatures in order to avoid the lacquer being damaged.

How much do they measure and weigh?

Bow tie tags are 5x3x0.3 cm and weigh 4 gr.

Round tags are 3x3x0.3 cm and weigh 3 gr.

Are they suitable for all kinds of animals?

Yes. We recommend the bow tie tags for cats and dogs, and the round tags for any other kind of animal.

Purchase / Shipping

Where can I get tags?

Through our online store or at anypet storewhere they are available.

Do I need a Paypal account to make a purchase?

No. Choose the “Pay with Paypal” option and from there you can pay with credit card without having to create any account.

Can I pay with credit card?

Of course! Just select the “Pay with credit card” option and make the purchase. We use the REDSYS standard for your comfort and security. That way, you carry out the transaction directly with the bank.

How long will my order take to arrive?

It depends on your location and the shipping method you have chosen.

If you’ve chosen for standard shopping, delivery normally takes 3 – 5 days from when the purchase was made. If you make the purchase after 1 p.m., it will be shipped the next day.

If you have chosen express shipping and the order was made before 12 p.m., it will reach you the next day. If not, you will receive it within 48 hours.

I’ve had a problem during the purchase process. What should I do?

The purchase process was probably not completed. If your account has been charged but you have not received the confirmation e-mail, check your spam folder. Can I change my tag?

We can send you another without any problem, as long as you haven’t opened it and you cover the cost of collection and shipping. As soon as your old tag arrives, we will check it and send you another one.

Do you do international deliveries?

Tell us what you need and we will respond to your case personally. Write to us attienda@dinbeat.com and tell what product/s you are interested in. We will do what we can to get you what you need.

Returns

You may return your product in any of the following situations:

  1. If you’re not satisfied: We return your payment. The product must be unopened and in a perfect condition, and you must pay the shipping costs.
  2. If the product is faulty: Send an e-mail to tienda@dinbeat.com and explain the problem in detail. We will contact you in order to reimburse your payment and replace the product with a new one.
